Grass growing is a golf highlight.

I’d hate to see a golf lowlight.

And now MIckleson approaches the tee. The crowd falls silent as he addresses the ball. The grass appears to be growing. One millimeter…. two millimeters… three millimeters… and now for a word from our sponsor…

I broke 100 and then had to give it up because I broke my back (not literally) so I could not do the turns necessary.

Methinks Janis don’t be a golf fan.She and I share the same lack of understanding of the attraction to the sport.

I like watching a professional golfer hit one into the water (or a sand trap). I always smile and say “I can do that”.

Oh great, now Jef Mallet is going to have “Frazz” make some kind of obscure comment about watching Golf “highlights”.

If you want to feel inadequate, try watching a PGA golf tournament at a course you have access to… and then try playing the course yourself.

One of my favorite Herman comics shows the ball right beside the hole and the pole bent into a sidewise V. Herman says, “Lucky I hit the pin.”

I like golf because I can focus on the personalities and root for my favorite. (It helps if you just watch the last hour of the last day.) Also I can tell what is going on, or at least what the TV shows. Once I actually was at Whistling Straits in Sheboygan County when V. J. Singh won. Yea, golf!
