I see that Angus is “known to police” so Tracy has reason to be suspicious of him even outside of the circumstances. Interesting that Mysta “told Vera where to go.” She’s a feisty one and I don’t think she’ll be receptive to any further advances either.

Not much to repair where Vera Alldid is concerned. While he was a goofy character when introduced, he never was especially likable or smart. Still, he was not a criminal, even though he fell under suspicion on more than one occasion. I think he and Sparkle were better suited than Junior and Sparkle, but that ship left port and sailed some time ago..Mike and Joe have rendered Vera quite accurately, imo. He has more ego than smarts, which is in keeping with his character. While he supposedly has a PhD in History, nothing was ever done with Vera to mark him as a scholar. He has been put to good use in this story. Through Vera we were introduced to the funny J. Straightedge Trustworthy strip (and the infamous 88 Fleas), which in turn led us to Kolossal Studios..Vera has always been ambitious and somewhat shallow. It’s no surprise that Mysta is not at all impressed and gave him the brush-off. Well done.
