So, where is the enemy, Sergeant? He seems to have gone around us, Sir. Republican 1st. congressional huzzahs/ Obama shall not pass! And that's the statE of their disunion.
Contrary to some opinions around here, Oliphant has not lost his touch. Not one little bit. An all-time classic. ROTFLMAO. Republican 1st Congressional Huzzahs indeed!
I enjoy your comments because I think you’re laughing as you write them. Holy Hyperbole!.I’m reminded of the hero in “Warp!” an ordinary character who finds suddenly himself transformed into Lord Cumulus, in battle against Prince Chaos for the destiny of the Universe. (It was a play in the early ‘70s in Chicago at The Organic Theater.). Informed that Lord Chaos wants to destroy the Universe, our hero says innocently, “What does he want to destroy the Universe for? Where’s he going to live?”.All of our comments are basically for entertainment, pretty pebbles, and some are shinier than others. Skim them across the pond(erous) issues of the day and see how many times they skip..This too shall pass.
You could argue it’s about time. Five years ago, a group of Republicans swore to let nothing get passed by Obama. He is using a FEW executive orders — fewer than any president in a century — to get some basic things done in a small way.http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2013/01/obama-executive-orders-guns.html
An important note that many might miss: Oliphant has his knowledge of political history on full display in this cartoon. Throughout much of the 20th century and to this day, the expression “¡NO PASARÁN!” (“They shall not pass!”) has been a famous battle cry in opposition to fascism and Nazism. In this cartoon, of course, the battle cry is turned on its head by the fascist idiot Huzzahs, who have been passed by. Brilliant!

Just a question here … does the “T” in T-Party really stand for “Troll?” Somehow, Tea doesn’t seem adequate.

The Republicans in the House aren’t ALL cocaine criminals or criminals who threaten to commit murder. I think we should all admit this……..

You mean like Shrub was doing when he brushed off the idea that Osama Bin Laden had it out for us in 2001?
