Besides, has everyone forgotten the story of the Grasshopper and the Ants? Calvin is like the grasshopper; he puts all his effort into playing during the spring, summer, and fall, but unless he begins to start developing some practical skills and a proper work ethic, he’ll be starving come winter!

Calvin already has the super power of imagination. Work ethic or not, this is the power that will get you through life.

oh – Calvin has a work ethic – it just gets applied to very different ideas than his dad has. In fact, Calvin has an OVERwork ethic.
