She thinks?? Hasn’t she ever googled herself? Believe me, if there were any Bitsy Twill dance videos out there I would know it.

Now we’re getting somewhere. She probably sent a risqué video of herself to a boyfriend and lives in fear it will show up online.

Didn’t get in on the late commentary yesterday as I had a triple overtime session at the Milford Clnic for attitude adjustment therapy.

Apparently, my relapse was triggered by the fact that only JPuzz commented on my Harry Caray schtick Thursday.May have more on JP coming up.Thanks Cutters for the nice comments on my goofing up—unfortunately for some of those years I WAS the despotic editor.

Sign Man, Ellisburkes, and maybe even Sportsguy Skillfully done with your last comments of Friday! SG a tad acerbic, but clever nonetheless.EB-wondering if the Willie Mays game was against the Cubs, maybe ’63? I recall him getting picked off late in a game, I think it was by Lindy McDaniel and Jack Quinlan was announcing.

This is the first we’ve heard of “dance videos”. Are they something Wendy did and now regrets? All we’ve seen is a shot of Wendy at the St. Fabian’s dance.

“Um, was there also a pole in the video?”“No, but I finished the dance with a collection of one dollar bills…”

Is this unseen video more risque’ than the “photos of the cardboard box bikini” story line from a while back? It had better be!

Wendy can’t remember how many videos she made. In her defense, like Rob Ford, she was really wasted.

“Well, maybe one video. There was some body painting, hallucinogens, and some guy who said he was a movie producer looking for new stars in an upcoming picture.”

Hi Wiseguy1130 — Yes, Willie Mays game was indeed 1963. I just looked it up; June 6 (D-Day!) to be exact. Not only did Lindy McDaniel pick Mays of 2nd in a 2-2 game in the top of the 10th, he hit a walk off home run in the bottom of the 10th (off another Chicago baseball legend, Billy Pierce, then closing out his career with the Giants) to win it. Win actually put the Cubs into a first place tie, before the usual midsummer fade. P.S. Jack Quinlan (with Lou B) are STILL my all time favorite announcers. Remember the Musical Scoreboard after the games?

Wouldn’t Wendy be aware that universities with fine arts departments have scholarships for dancers? There’s no reason that would be a less realistic alternative than hoops. (Sax paid off better than soccer for my kid).

Marty Moon grew up listening to Harry also, and he gets completely sloshed every game in tribute.

Who needs a good story line when you can get entertaining comments like these? Good ones today. Harkens back to what to me were better times.

I stayed in Chicago for a while during the summer of ’74, and became a big White Sox fan — never forget Richie Allen that year, he was always explosive if not always successful. Harry was the broadcaster for the Sox, and it inspired me to put a Holy Cow bumper sticker on my car.

You guys are bringing up the names of icons. For me, it was the smooth delivery of Van Vance, The Park City Flash. Van was the play by play announcer for the ABA Kentucky Colonels and University of Louisville Cardinal basketball teams. Van Man also had the two hour weeknight Sports Talk show on 84WHAS radio. Whereas the current talk shows promote controversy, Van was master at caller interaction and playing the role of gatekeeper. Absolutely the most civil sports talk show I have listened to.
