I was surprised to hear that the majority of sexual assault victims in the military are male. Even so, it was the women in congress pushing for reform of the rules about how these cases are dealt with.

I often wondered about how much of the push for impeachment of Bill Clinton was driven by Republican House members who were jealous because no twentysomething women paid attention to them.

The solution is obvious enough: Get the Supreme Court to overturn the Nineteenth Amendment, the way they overturned the Civil Rights Act (and by extension invalidated the Fifteenth Amendment). The Founding Fathers — the original Tea Partyers — didn’t want women or non-whites muddying up the voter pool.

The GOP has done an excellent job of bashing themselves. They make it too easy for comedians. GT is only reflecting the very things that the GOP has been up to. Fantasy or prejudice is a far cry from what is being depicted here.

Also, on this holiday, let us remember Jacqueline Gingrich, first wife of Newt Gingrich, who was served divorce papers, while she was dying from cancer, and he was cheating on her. Such a sweet guy he is. She departed from this life on August 7, 2013.
