My dad and I went up Rainer in tennis shoes and jeans. Passed a bunch of guys in snow goggles and crampons with ice axes. They looked at us funny. Didn’t go to the top but up well onto the ice. Was spectacular.

I am overweight, so when I had a chest pain situation, they should have left me alone because I weigh more than I should.
