I’m very frightened by panel 2…

Once when he was little my son tried to wink. He compromised and used his finger to hold one eye shut. It was so cute!

Alice knows best! If she says she is winking, she is winking. —Looks painful, though….

My eldest is 51 and still can’t wink – or snap her fingers. Where did I go wrong?

I want to be able to raise one eyebrow at a time. I gave up on winking well.

It is what I say it is.

I’m right, and everyone else is wrong.

I do the same thing when trying to raise just one eyebrow

I could watch for hours as my brother wiggled his ears, never could do that, could flare my nostrils tho.

My elder daughter can raise one eyebrow like you wouldn’t believe. So can her nephew. She could also hang a spoon from her nose indefinitely. My husband and I can’t do any of that. Must be recessive traits.

I’m an expert winker, especially when doing both eyes at the same time.

I can wink, no problem. I can raise my right eyebrow by itself, but not the left – so only my right half can look skeptical!

That’s enough – they’ll know what you mean. If you raised both eyebrows simultaneously, you’d look surprised.
