I agree with Holly. How are you suppose to bathe with a crawdad in the tub?

Alix and Holly remind me of Arya and Sansa in “Game of Thrones”, the 2 daughters of Ned Stark….

Alix must be the Crustacean Whisperer to have gotten him into the tub without getting pinched!

No one has mentioned that there appear to be four large pincers in the last panel, which would mean that there are at least two crawdads in the tub. Or is this the kind of deal where a cartoon character is waving his or her arms around, and the cartoonist draws multiple arms? Doesn’t look like it.

My youngest son used to play at fishing in a local park (did not have large “stocked” lakes as we have here in Phoenix) and he brought home some small crayfish that were from a little pond that was probably quite polluted (near Des Plaines River). I had no idea what to do to clean and cook them (even if I were not repulsed) because that also predated internet.

The Creole have a dish called Crawfish Et Tu Fey (sp?) . They look like baby lobsters. If they taste anything like their bigger cousins, it would be good eats!
