Oh, Earl.

I didn’t think it was possible for people like Earlwho wears dentures to bite their fingernails.

A fork ? How brilliant ! And here, ll these years, I’ve been using the door jam…

A fork would be just the right length, wouldn’t it?

Forks have many uses. One of my high school teachers (a prize-for-literature-winning author) wrote that he was perpetually in trouble in the winter, because his wife was always on his back for using a fork to reach into his shoes to scratch his chilblains … rotfl!

They’ve been married too long!

Hmm… I wonder what Earl would use a back scratcher for?No, wait… actually I don’t want to know!

I thought they had a swing chair on their porch.

I’ve got a back scratcher at home and th e office…and they’re adjustable giving more range than the ordinary fork.

I like my long-handle shoe horn.

Someone gave my husband a back scratcher at one time, I took it. In the winter I get the itchies.

I got a long handled red plastic pasta strainer thingy as a promotional freebie about a year ago….That itchy spot on my back made friends with it immediately. The pasta will have to wait…

@Arye UygurThey DO have a porch swing, but at the other end of the porch. On THIS end, he can put his feet on the railing, on the swing, he sits next to the front window of the house and she next to the porch railing.. Kapeesh??
