Poor baby . . .

Happens to the best of us, I guess.

That’s okay, Fritzi— we love you for more than just your mind! Actually, considering you’re about 80 years old, your mind is working about the way it should ;)

Fritzi, I know how you feel. My “steel trap” mind has also become a plastic colander.

I have a technique I’ve used for a long time… I just have to remember what it was… hold on…

oh, yes… I try to use an associative word that will pop up easily, or try to mentally form an image of what I was trying to remember for later, before I walk into another room, or go to tackle another thought…

I have a mind like a steel trap… that’s been sitting in salt water for a looong time.

Like any good-looking woman, she made an entrance to be admired. All the rest is fishing!

At least a plastic colander holds back what is needed and lets the extra stuff drain away

The mind can do funny things.

It is difficult to retain relevant trains of thought in times of cognitive dissonance, like century old records being broken for snow in May.

Don’t even START on this! :-( :-(

However….if one does forget what/where one was doing or going…go BACK to where you were when you thought of it. It comes back (most of the time at least!) Really!!

Go back to what you were doing previously, and it will come to you.

At least your body hasn’t suffered the way your mind has. In fact, some parts has actually improved with age!

The older I get the more I think about the here after…as in “what did I come in here after”

As a good friend used to say, “I’ve got a mind like a stainless steel sieve”!
