I remember as a kid, the drug store near our house had a huge rack full of comic books, ten cents each, except for Mad Magazine which was “25 cents, cheap”. Donald Duck, Superman, the Vault of Horror, the Crypt of Terror…good, clean reading for young growing minds.

I didn’t watch them regularly but there was one episode I remember where one of them mentioned that the heel on her boot was coming loose. Sure enough, Later in the episode they were chasing a perp and going down a flight of steps when the heel came off and she took a header, leaving the other partner on her own momentarily until she could get up and regain her composure. If I was Tracy or Sam I think I’d be telling my partner to save those hot looking stilettos for date night.

Jumble Jeff:1954?!? It’s the same age as me! When did you start doing the artwork? It seems similar to what I remember from years ago. I think I recall that the earlier artist liked long faces….sort of Don Martin but without the massive chin. I also recall that I could often come up with the punchline without the letters. Just checking out the length of the word was enough. And that’s exactly what happened today! Ummmm…..is that cheating?

@tsull2121 EVERYTHING is a conspiracy theory. *************************Well, YEEAAHH; or else we wouldn’t have many of the plots in DT or other books, movies, and TV shows. Not everything, but enough conspiracies to make good stories. Look back through your own comments over the years and I’ll bet you’ll find lots of mention of conspiracies in Tracyland.

Do you suppose that blob coming out of Sam’s nose is just a result of the coloring project? I don’t know where to see the original b&w version online anymore, but I do know that other services color strips differently.

In the panel I posted earlier, Junior quotes Jerry Robinson: “If you don’t see the body, you’ll be doing the slow dance again.” Tracy responds, “Smart fellow” inplying that anyone who disagrees with Junior’s statement must be a “Dumb” fellow. Tsull obviously disagrees with Junior’s statement and has admitted it so therefore in Tracy’s eyes Tsull is not a “Smart Fellow” but admittedly a “Dumb Fellow.”

Golly morrow, that’s really swell of you! I don’t know what outfit I’ll be wearing or which nostril my finger will be in but I will not be mooning anyone, that I’m sure of. Sorry dude I know that will disappoint you!

well then, since it seems that “spoilers” are not NEEDED then i guess i can reveal whatever i think is pertinent to a line of questioning or the storyline etc.. as long as mike doesnt label his posts at the yahoo gorup as “Please do nto repost to the gocomics board” like he did once before. and if ANY of you decide to jump on me about it, i will remind you of today’s “interrogation” where stagger refused to enforce the “SPOILER RULE” against anyone else except me. “What’s good for the goose”…

Some folks here have complained that this is a weak story, but at least we are seeing Tracy and Sam doing some real detecting here. Interviewing people, and putting bits of information together, following up on clues that come to light from talking to victims and persons of interest.

It was pretty easy to figure out the jumble without un-jumbling the other words…
