Is there an actual verb anywhere in that run-on sentence?

The simplified version is: if you’re rich, you’ll get richer, if you’re poor, you’ll get poorer.

He’s exactly right. One of the shakedown artists who used intimidation to force local banks to lend to bad risks who were shortly thereafter foreclosed on, triggering the financial panic, was a young community organizer named Barack Obama. He later profited from this mass misery by running for President to fix the problem he helped create.

Huh? Forget it. Just tell me how much I owe. I’m going out for ice cream.

I don’t think neither Irving nor Cathy cares about the intricacies of the economy. vaugnrl is right, they just want to know how it affects them.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! Have a great day, all!

I am with vaughnrl2003 on this one. Ice cream is a great idea – even if it is cold, windy, and wet out there today. Ah well, it will be hot and sunny for us tomorrow afternoon. We are off to Phoenix AZ for my annual conference. My wife already has a spa day booked and shopping trips planned. I am looking forward to the conference and the decompress days in Sedona afterwards. If I don’t get to check in, please, everyone have a great two weeks.

Yup—this looks like a classic case of Smile and Nod. For me, anyway.

    HI, MOM. Hello, “Cathy” Clan.

The “run on sentence” makes perfect sense to me.
