It’s always memorable at Lio’s house.

Ishy’s the life of every party….not to mention all the spidies…

Me think that Lio’s Dad has enough memories.

Dad doesn’t need to “make” a memorable Thanksgiving; all he need do is look over his shoulder at Lio and his friends! There’s Ishy, the lovable squiddish base of them all, Mittens pulling Cybil’s tail while she attaches herself to Lio’s hair, a trio of spiders (one of whom is presumably Frank), a scorpion, and who knows what else lurking (perhaps under the skullcap Ishy is wearing)….

It’ll be memorable alright…just not the way the book means.

But he brought a live one to their house, it might wish to be dead.

Thanksgiving’s my favorite holiday. I get the impression that Dad is looking at us, and letting us in on the joke.
