    I learned to drive on a manual…. and really liked it most of the time…. except when I had to stop on a steep hill and of course the driver behind me would get right up on my bumper. It was Caracas and there were a lot of hills. I never backed into anyone, but I can do without the stress. (And yes, I rode the clutch because that’s what kept me safe!)

    I guess I’ve been wearing failure pants a lot in the last few months… but – a Zoom meeting doesn’t know what you are wearing under the desk. A nice sports coat and button down shirt matched with failure pants…. nice look on Zoom – not so nice for the husband…

    During these times, I tip for takeout the same as I would if I were eating in (in fact 5% more than if I were eating in – so 25% or more depending on bill) – I’m fortunate to be able to work from home in a good job, so it’s the right thing to do.
