The way that society in general is headed is depressing, with everybody gauging their worth by how many followers or likes they get. At this rate the movie Idiocracy will look like a documentary.

And we love to work at nothing all day

This goes back to the “greed is good” ’80s when young people got degrees in finance and related fields instead of STEM. I got caught up in that.

The I was a little kid I wanted to be an astronaut. After watching Star Trek TOS and watching my aunt die from cancer I decided to earn and MD and kill cancer instead.

“And a little child shall lead them.” I forget who said that, but he was right. He meant the Child would lead us to spiritual enlightenment—but that’s not where the “Child” is leading us. We should be very afraid, because that prediction, dire as it has turned out to be, is coming true.

This is too close to true, going by a recent study. It’s the most popular answer, and quite a few kids can’t picture themselves taking any other job. You know they can’t all succeed at it….
