Little libraries was a popular fad around where I live, but the local porch pirates would swipe all the books and sell them to used book stores. Some were converted to little food pantries, but in your wealthier burbs, there is precious little need; and the clientele it does attract, the neighbors would prefer were barred from roaming local streets. The local city and village boards have declared them illegal unlicensed food distribution centers and have gone so far as ripping them up if the owners refuse to stop.

Depending on the titles available, I might agree with him.

If the TP shortage was real , why have I found incredible deals on paper products lately? I bought 3 full size boxes of Kleenex in a pack for $1.11, found paper towels 4 rolls for $1.79 and they also had big packs of TP drastically discounted. I can’t believe that we all of a sudden have a surplus.

I found books good for information, but not to replace real life experiences. I never read anything that came close to combat or winning/losing in life. I’d rather talk with a veteran than someone who can puke out stories that he had read.
