Not to worry. The Republican accountants are only against spending that helps people who need it. This is definitely not in that category.

With the F-35 having more problems, and not having the range of our current fleet, and the F-22 not being used, tell me again why Defense spending is sacrosanct?
ARodney said, 3 months ago
The F-35 is necessary because all politicians know that government DOES create jobs in defense, even though many conservatives deny that government can create jobs anywhere else. This is known as “weaponized Keynesianism,” and is a key belief of congressional Republicans and many Democrats.

@Gary Kleppe
Well, since most of the people the democrats think need it, do not need it, we can start with wellfare and foreign aid.

@ARodney
And it is democrat and liberal policy to take from the workers to support the lazy wellfare clans of California, Michigan and Illinois.

Funny that the red states get more federal dollars than they pay in.

The Accountants Against Spending have never been against military spending. Go figure!

We’re only against spending on things that benefit hippies. As soon as ‘that one’ leaves the pentagon, we’ll put our sign back down and go back to droning on.
lonecat said, 3 months ago
If there were no spending there would be no accountants.

let sequestration begin.
I’ll gladly start.
I.e., if it hurts me personally, fine.

Hey ‘roidknight you always have it backwards, it’s us Liberal taxpayers in California, Michigan and Illinois who have to support your red welfare states like Georgia, South Carolina and Alabama with our federal tax dollars.In California we raised taxes and now have a large state surplus, something that should be done on the federal level except you tea bagging deadbeats don’t want to contribute to our nation’s security.

It’s way past time to cut the bloated and wasteful military spending that has doubled in just the last 10 years. That is what the republicans have done for us on being fiscally conservative.

The built the F-22 but have not found a reason to use it. (Also that design flaw that is poisoning the pilots.) Neither the F-22 and F-35 really are needed. But they are filling the pockets of the rich corporations. Rich off of the tax money from us.

@zoidknight
Zoid, you need to spend a month as an unemployed, disabled old person with six kids. That might change your tune.
