For him the population is revolting and rebelling. So of course he needs to quash it. Unfortunately unlike Saudi Arabia, he failed to nip it in the bud.

Unlike Saudi Arabia he had the US working against him instead of helping him nip it in the bud.

Assad is going to die the same way as Qaddafi, Saddam, & Nicolae Ceausescu. In fear and disbelief.
The real concern is what will be left when he’s gone.
Respectfully,
C.

Yes the USA had been using Syria as one of its torture points. But the USA always goes against allies when they are too flagrant about repression. Why Saudi Arabia an Qatar are still okay. They stopped their respective rebellions quickly.

Expediency, pure and simple. We spread freedom across the world… when it serves our goals! Elsewise, enjoy those “Made in USA” tear gas grenades being thrown into your protest demonstrations.

Assad has got to go, geez why can’t the CIA or Mosad just off him? Toles missed showing Putin right behind Assad giving him kicking instructions.

I’m sure a nice country willing to foot the bill and lives of their citizens to declare an illegal war on Syria, remove Assad from power, have the citizens of Syria hold criminal trials on him and execute him, then pay to clean up the country for the next 10 years. America is tired of being the police of the world for the worthless UN.

Wolf: And in the US too, when they are not being fired into someone’s head or simply sprayed in the faces at one foot range.

Wonder if Hillary still considers Assad a reformer?

The more Conservative and Extreme Republicans are raring to send others to do their dirty bloody work in Syria.

While liberal democrats like you sit on the sidelines, whining, and sending drones out to kill innocent women and children.
