   So at what point do you become “useless and a burden”. I have been a firefighter for 40 years. I’ve pulled people out of burning buildings wrecked cars had a child die in my arms. My knees are worn outand need to be replaced from responding to incidents I didn’t cause but risked my life to fix. So tell me when do people become useless and a burden.
