…so long as it’s a shaped charge, I guess, and aimed away from the house…
I’d love to know where she got the HMX from…
You should know better, Dad.
They’ve got a snow blow-up-er.
Wiley, Love the vertical strips! I can scroll down a panel at a time and savor the moment…
What a flake…
Nice Shakespeare riff, Wiley. Love the dog in the last panel.
sandfan, I was thinking exactly both of those things.
Good one Wiley!
This is the Danae we all know and love.
Might not be such a bad idea on some of those drifts that are as hard as rocks….
Good one (as usual!) Wiley. So enjoy your strips!
Need not be HE, personally I would be thinking of thermite, only then the problem is to get to stop before it hits anything valuable …
Knowing Danae it is a just a small nuke.
As someone once said to Dustin Hoffman: “One word: Platique.”
I guess the term snow blower now has new meaning.
(Yeah, I apologize to coyoty. His was better.)
Hey, it sounds like fun to me. Also good for clearing accumulated snow off the roof. Just ask the avalanche patrol.
Danae got her hands on Jeffry’s science project.
I guess you have to know what “FIRE IN THE HOLE!!” means.
FIRE IN THE HOLE is shouted by explosives experts and demolition teams before they set off an explosive charge, it basically means “GET OUT OF THE WAY OR THERE WILL BE A FIRE IN YOUR HOLE!”
Kate’s dog has the right idea……..
brace for impact!
Your wrong, knowing Danae its either C4, thermite like
SeS1066 said or a good old stick of din-o-mite.
and here I am, wasting time so I don’t have to go out & shovel the snow. Now I have the ambition to go do it … and where did I leave that thermite I mixed up last month?
Danae is quite the tomboy.
If Danae ever gets together with Lio, we’ll be in serious trouble.
“There is no problem that can not be solved by the careful use of explosives.” Bert Gummer.
Sure Dad, you saved all the effort of shovelling the snow. But now you have to put the house back on its foundation.
Hmmm so THAT’S what I felt at Steeles / Warden in Toronto today … Danae was ‘clearing’ the snow. hmmm
@sayhowURfeelingB4URgone - Is that a serious argument?
I suspected sarcasm but never saw the end-tag.
Has Danae been hanging out with Lio?
The difficulty of accomplishing work is inversely proportional to the glee with which it is approached.
And High Explosives always reduce it by at least 50%.
The wicked little witch, of non sequitur, strikes again.
Snow on the walk?…
Best stay inside…
No need for a walk…
Let the season abide…
Will too soon be spring…
And all will be well…
With no need for an act…
Leaving such a sulphuric smell…
Maybe Danae just made friends with Alice…
She probably got the explosives from Lio.
Or maybe the Gravesytes.
Wow! The only front door in the world that opens INWARD! :o)
Of course, she wouldn’t be able to get outside otherwise. “Creative freedom” I guess…
No doubt about it, THIS is the girl for Calvin!
Nordic, where are you that your front doors open outward?
Anywhere in Blizzard country, there are doors that open inward. Some places have one of each–outward in case there’s a fire; inward in case three feet of snowdrift is against the door.
It means you have to be careful–you can’t just run into a door and expect it to let you out.
