Wonder how the threat of the Satellite will be circumvented. That was the original and most important threat to be dealt with in this storyline after the rocket launched as it threatens all of Endtown still even after they get home.

I WAS WRONG!!! :>( Woe us me. Well this is very exciting as well. In the future they can use this to gather food, something besides beans? Maybe a prime rib, tacos, or even some beer. OOOFFFF> I am making myself hungry. AM must have been there or how did he know how to get there?Everyone seems to be wrapped up in Flask. OK, If I can’t be a leader, I will be a follower. Lets go get Flask. Blessed Be

“If I were Wally, I’d be freaking out about how Marx knows the (approximate) distance back to his home… not to mention its name and a portal straight to main street. Talk about a threat to security!”Wally wouldn’t care, but Flask, Mallard and Jackrabbit sure would. (Except that Mallard doesn’t because Marx is really Mallard in his human suit.)

It is a different cliff-hanger. Home is one step away. But that satellite still needs to be dealt with and that’s a need to get into the topsider colony. What will Wally and crew decide to do?

Blackie and Captain Marx did converse This was out of sight, with no others near The brief conversation was hostile and terse If they’re the same person, no point would be clear But notice that Aaron Marx’s remark Is that going to Endtown for him would be “back” He’s been there before, it’s no shot in the dark But when? Our reality’s under attack… By the way, I’ve been traveling, thanks for the link I’ve managed to vote on (almost) every day These doings have certainly got me to think And I’m here in spirit, even when I’m away =|====/ Level Head Vote for Endtown 2.0 And for Doc Rat, too The Endtown Forum Charter member of the Consortium to get Aaron a Tablet

I’ve given up trying to second guess the intentions, motivations and capabilities of Aaron Marx. “How will he do this..? How will he do that…?” My logic has no power over him. What’s to say they’ll all wake up and discover it was just a very strange dream?

I’ll be very surprised if Marx returns to Endtown with them. He’ll hold the portal open long enough for them then close it behind them. Thus writing himself out of the story until he feels like writing himself back in.

I too am wondering about the “back” to Endtown comment.

RE: the satellite. Perhaps another Lucranian ship will pass in orbit and scoop up the “freebie”

I’m thinking it’s probably the Everett Dimensionometer doing the portal thing. He was winding it like a watch a while back, and made Holly fall asleep with it later on.

Oh… First-time commenter here. I saw a reference to this comic yesterday from Friday’s DocRat strip (dontcha love time zones?), and spent a good portion of the day into night catching up on the archives.

Aaron, you’ve got another fan for your comic. Thank you for bringing this strange and wonderful world to light.

Wait a minute. Aaron invests too much into details for this to be what we assume it to be. That’s NOT Endtown, at least not part of Endtown we’ve seen before and certainly NOT Holly’s place. Look back to July 14, 2011. Holly’s house is brick, with a flat roof and a modern style street lamp. This house looks wooden, with a corrugated roof and an older style street lamp. I know thats a year ago our time, but remember, they only left Endtown, at most, 3 days ago their time. Something is amiss here…

Whoa! Marx is much more than meets the eye! You definitely want him on your side but only if you can get used to all the “bells and whistles”…

You know, the way AM “opened” that space, reminded me of The Truman Show with Jim Carrey. Life was different beyond the “walls” that he was limited to….

I didn’t mean to imply Marx was using actual magic yesterday. The word just sounded better than “powers”. Whatever it looks like he’s doing with innate abilities can really be sophisticated parlor tricks. He could be more like a technowizard from Babylon 5 or Ardra from ST-TNG. Technology and misdirection, dressed up for show.

For example, while it looks like he stretched the air open like fabric, he could have had an existing portal already opened using the ship’s technology, and have dittos give the illusion of him opening up the air. The same with the water effects, masking portals from the ship and to wherever Flask went.

Marx’s inhaling the missile may also be a masked portal effect, with the missile being portaled away and Marx masking it to look like a hot meal.

Is it just me or does AM’s face in panel 4 not look very happy about offering this option? I don’t believe for a minute that he was actually looking forward to (or intent on having) a two day trek back to Endtown. It’s almost like he’s saying, “Here ya go, but there’s still more to be done. Is this what you really want to do?” Speaking of which……a two day trek? So, Endtown is less than 60 miles away by foot? Seems to me, a few hundred or so mutts could have kept an eye out to find the Endtown entrance in that small an area. . . no real need for a satellite.

It crossed my mind that what they see is not really Endtown. It could be most anywhere. Marx has seemed nice, playful, annoying and more, but there is always a tinge of slight fear about him..

Normally I don’t chime in weekends (especially Sundays), but I feel it’s right to inform you that we’re not seeing any the comics on this site today. Some are saying it’s a technical issue or GoComics might be doing this out of respect for the mass shootings that happen in Aurora, Colorado. Of course, that’s just speculation. Seriously though, if this continues into tomorrow (Monday), it could effect comics with story arcs-Dick Tracy, Alley Oop, LuAnn, and of course, EndTown. Thought I should inform you.
