Poodles once served a purpose
I was wondering what their job in the animal kingdom was!
Nowadays, most of them are used for toys.
Standard poodles are hunting dogs, particularly for water fowl. Toy poodles are a perversion of selective breeding.
According to Frank Zappa, poodles had another purpose. I probably won’t be able to post all the details here.
Now tell me what possible use there is for Chihuahuas, Pekinese, Pomeranians, etc.

Since they once were hunting dogs, they should be moved from the non-sporting group and put into the sporting group. They are the most intelligent dog of all breeds.
Aww…I had a Pomeranian I adored for 19 years. He was a hoot and WAY too intelligent. He thought he was a king!
