Celebrated on the eve of Halloween, Candy Corn Day cuts it pretty close. Does anyone really think of the waxy, fall-colored faux-maize as more than a seasonal decoration? Apparently so, because Brach's has been repurposing a recolored version of the polarizing combination of sugar, corn syrup, carnauba wax, fondant, and marshmallows for Christmas, Valentine's Day and Easter for the past several years!
