Since the discovery of X-ray technology on this day in 1895 by German physicist Wilhelm Conrad Rontgen, the medical field has become much better equipped to find out which of your teeth are rotten and how many Legos your dog has swallowed. History isn't full of fun examples of what doctors did beforehand. We're sure many Legos went undiscovered. Truly, the pre-X-ray era was a dark age.
