Years ago I told a coworker I had yellow jackets flying in and out of my gas grill cover on my camper. I didn’t want to get stung getting rid of them. He told me to tell my sons I’d give them a dollar to go uncover the gas tank.

Late last night, there was a screeching noise coming from my patio! It was dark and raining and I certainly wasn’t going out to see what the heck it was. It stopped and this morning I looked but there are so many plants in one area, I can’t see anything in them. I’m not sticking my hands in either.

I must be an oddity as the garage, shed and store room are all well lit, clean and organized and we have been in this house for 15 years.

Like the basement in the house I grew up in. Dark, full of stuff everywhere, spooky to have to go down into.

Where Janis stashed his “lucky shirt”?

I had boxes stacked in my garage and when I started cleaning it out I found lots of needle-like tooth marks on them. I had a possum trapped in there. Found it asleep in a cat carrier, made removal rather easy.

Be boring, move the wood one piece at a time and stack horizontally in a space specially cleared for stacked wood. Later cut it into pieces and use as firewood.
