    Yet we continue down this road of stupidity. I do not want my fridge talking to my toaster, my TV or Facebook.

    “THEY” – {limerick and coda}

    Of the internet Orwell might say

    that regular folks are the prey

    of not only Big Brother

    but of many anOther.

    We’re hounded by Many a “They”.

    … Coda:

    “They” exploit our personal facts,

    so “They” can perform their heinous acts

    which’ll ruin us All quite big-time some day.

    {Off the cartoon’s topic:}

    COMEY’S OUR HOMIE – {limerick}

    We can consider James Comey

    our hero, our anti-Trump homie.

    He’s jumping the hump

    of Donald Trump,

    and flushing his phony {baloney} balomey.

    {Off the cartoon’s topic:}

    “ETHICAL” IS NOT THE RIGHT WORD – {rhyme}

    It’s oxymoronic

    and antithetical

    to link the words “Trump” and “ethical”. -

    - Describe him “cyclonic”

    and “chronically demonic”

    and “yuugely moronic

    whose brain needs a colonic”

    and “by America’s standards heretical.”

    I was looking at new refrigerators while I was at the builder’s supply store last week and saw one with a touch screen display built into it. I thought “what’s the point of that?” As much as I enjoy technology, I see no real reason to have internet connected appliances. I have tablets to look up information and to create shopping lists.

    All of Trump’s business are in China. Not enough noticed the irony of that when he was pontificating about getting jobs here.

    Interestingly enough – WHERE an item was manufactured isn’t an issue unless somebody wants to make a political issue of it – most just want “cheap”. With the advent of IPv6 (you can google it, but be advised its a whole ‘nother can of worms) EVERYTHING can have an “internet address” including "Uncle Hiram’s off ox" and there are techno-geeks who are taking that as a challenge. So, when everything gets an RFID and an “internet address”, everything you buy will be tracked from the store to your refrigerator and to the landfill when you toss it. Drive-by investigators will be able to tell how many cans of beer and packs of cigarettes you have in your house and the only way you’ll be able to hide what you’ve got in your house at any given time is by storing it in a “faraday cage”!

    Kids, good luck hiding stuff from your parents – and parents, good luck hiding anything from your “Uncle Sam”, and “Uncle Sam”, good luck hiding anything from ANY foreign entity that wants to know about your markets!

    I’m not advocating “retreat”, I’m just saying “Brace Yourself!”
