The “pretentious”, “vacuous”, and “abstruse” background is from pages 272 and 273 of Jacob Behmen’s Theosophick Philosophy Unfolded.

What’s a theosophick? And the Unfolded part sounds like claims of a comedy show or interview being Uncut or Uncensored.

The Extended, Unfolded “Frog Applause” Interview with Teresa and Vlad. See and hear Vlad at his most unfoldedness. See and hear Teresa at her lamestness.

Having heard the man make stupid remarks, the hand in the hat took matters in hand and gave him a dunce cap to wear instead of a respectable hat

A fine example of something, or maybe of something entirely different, but definitely a definitive example.

He’s looking in a weird direction with a rather vacuous* look on his face. Also, what is he grasping in his non-hat-holding hand? Are those the secret plans that the pretentious hellish people are desperately seeking? Or maybe it’s just his grocery list. Whatever it is, he is crumbling the top half of it.

*Why isn’t vacuous spelled with a double uu like vacuum? Aren’t the words related in meaning?

He needs a bigger funnel if he wants to hide behind it.

    Pretentious and Vacuous, together again.

Further proof that opposites attract: One is empty, and the other is full of it.

“No doubt about it, I gotta get another hat!” Bullwinkle said abstrusely.

    I didn’t know abstruseness had a funnel.

The output from the funnel of abstruseness goes through the sieve of Eratosthenes.

I made the mistake of taking a cake decorating class decades ago, little realizing what I was getting myself into.

To me, that funnel looks like a piping bag, getting ready to fill his deep fried pastry.

(But sometimes, a funnel is just a funnel, and a cannoli (or cannolo) is just a cannoli.)

Okay, I’ve been resisting the urge to say this all day, it’s so silly…

but does that stain remind anyone else of the outline of Ohio? Not exactly, but just a little?

(Just the bottom half. The top half is mirrored, like the text.)

Between the pretentious and vacuous Jacob Behmenisms [I am in fair awe of Randy B and his research, which boldly goes where no lame Froglandian has gone before] the Hat Trick Critique points out Old Jake himself (at least, as imagined and imaged). A stinging rebuke to a forgotten late 16th-early 17th century philosopher-mystic, Jakob Böhme (Englished as Jacob Behmen)!

Why, Sr. Teresa? De mortuis nil nisi bonum….

Randy_B isn’t all that. Anyone with a PhD, a demented lame mind, and too much time on his hands could have found the same text match. (Everyone except me, that is.)
