It’s not always funny-ha-ha, but it’s funny-peculiar most of the time.

And that’s good enough (or lame enough) for me.

Some people laugh at dad jokes. I ignore these jokes, or make a noise of mild discomfort, or throw a disgusted glare. Sometimes I respond with a joke that’s even worse.

(Pro tip: Look up Witzelsucht.)

A lot of cartoons need a cue to laugh because, honestly, I’m not sure if any humor is involved.

Humor is a mental experience, and this strip is definitely funny in the head.

How can he do comic strips after death? Ghost writers and ghost artists using spirit ink and working by the spectral light of spirit lamps. Some ghosts become part of the lamps. They are lamp shades…

There are some comic strips where the artists is still alive but the strip is dead.

A laughter from tummy is yummy….Ha Ha, I told a funny!

If you can sell it, then it is worth it, right?

Okay, but “Dead Cartoonists Society” is taking it over the line.

When I am dead, oh well whatever.

Hints of sage, and it recalls the last We the Robots from July 13, 2017, which depicts the characters taking a vacation. With overtones of parsley and oregano. The spaghetti gods are pleased by this marinara.

Everybody knows that when a cartoonist dies, his work starts living. (Female cartoonists refuse to die).

I’ve been playing with the RANDOM feature rectangle again that cannon balls me into the FA archive. What a ride. So many oldies but goodies.

Today’s boring comment: I love the prickly fun Teresa is having at the expense of so many tired and hackneyed and desiccated products out there.

If she really thought his idea was funny she would have done a series of Ho, Ho, Hoes.

Reminds me of the old Mad Magazine story of the famous artist who made so much money with art that eating and sleeping lost so much money that he quit them. He died young but very rich.

I discovered some time ago that people can tell when I am faking laughter, so I quit trying.

There! I’ve said it. And I mean it, too. Zombie comics are often drawn by nameless, faceless young talented cartoonists struggling to earn a living at their craft and trying on the side to come up with an idea for a strip of their own that will break out.

And, then, somewhere in this heady mix (I just finished reading classic Dilbert a few moments ago; Q.V. for the headiness of it) there is Frog Applause! —Land of the strange, home of the lame!
