Looks like “Behemoth” is helping out though the descriptions of it make it sound like some kind of robotic mechanism instead of some improbably surviving dinosaur after the flood.. Danae’s is wrong, but it is more fun!!

Oh and there never was an Exodus nor the wrath of Jehovah either for any Egyptian king. Just made up stories no different than Danae here. Only they are taken seriously.

Danae’s is MORE viable than some, well quite a few, “interpretations” of “the good book”, which especially in the old one gave the fevered nuts plenty of fodder.

Doesn’t take much to spark the fires of the militant atheists and anti-Chirstians on here.

Of course Danae’s theory is wrong. Where would a pterodactyl get rope?

Interestingly enough, mammoths were still around when (but not where) the pyramids were constructed.

I know it is right. I just made it up.

If it doesn’t fit your preconceived notions of how the world works, that is your failing.

But that still doesn’t explain how the Great Pyramid can be used for prophecy.

The really sad part of all this, some (too many) people really believe nonsense like this. The really annoying part, is that other people knowingly propagate this nonsense.

Believe it, or not, this is EXACTLY the kind of shite that “Young Earth Creationists” have to spout to explain the existence of dinosaurs. Go to that stupid “Creation” museum in Kentucky (I guess this was too intellectual for Texass…) and you’ll see a plastic dinosaur wearing a saddle and harness. I’m not making this up. THEY beat me to it….

The real miracle of the Bible is not in its scientific or historical accuracy (it’s very hit and miss there, mostly miss) but in the fact that after all these years, it’s still applicable.

When you read The Decline and Fall of Practically Everybody by Will Cuppy, (c. 1950) you will find a valid and very entertaining interpretation of every historical era from Cheops to Attila The Hun to Christopher Columbus, to name a just a few. Danae is a beginner, but she is inventive.

The bonus joke is that the ink is still wet on those “ancient scriptures.” The real joke is that Lucy had to write them because Danae is illiterate!

I am sure Fred Flintstone was also involved with the project. He worked for the supplier of stone in a quarry not to far from Bedrock.

Hmmmm just a thought…. Marco Polo reported of most wonderous things in China, but omitted the most wonderful wonder of all – the Big Wall.

Had he been in China at all?

The Bible doesn’t tell anything about the most wonderful wonders of all – the Pyramids.

Had the people of Israel been in Egypt at all …?

The ironic thing is that the Church of Danae is more like those who hold to scientism (as opposed to science) than having anything to do with orthodox Christianity.

So, I’m a PhD in biology. And I’ve seen a lot of science thrown out as being invalid during my lifetime. As an example, as a freshman biology major, we all learned the now discredited "ontology recapitulated phylogeny. I can repeat scientific “truths” that were found out not to be truths infinitely.

And yet, many folks who know nothing about science place their trust in science as ultimate Truth. They have such strong biases that they’re not open to Truth.

But I also went from being an atheist to being an orthodox Christian. I followed the evidence where it led without bias. Anyone who is an honest truth seeker who looks at the facts about Jesus and his claims to divinity will make the same conclusion that I did — he is God just as he claimed.

You do know that what was considered to be “Orthodox Christianity” at one time (or place) wasn’t at other times (or places), right? (Otherwise I’d be embarrassed to be caught in a conversation with you!)
