    Exactly his strategy. Donnie Dumpster is going for the “truthiness” his followers buy, for now.

    SMOKE-SCREEN DISTRACTIONS {a rhyme}

    His fingers are shorties,

    but My how they’re fleet

    as Trump tweets his sorties,

    firing tweet upon tweet.

    He’s aggressively snorty

    in his Trump Tower suite.

    He’s Twitter’s most prominent twit,

    overdoing it quite a bit.

    It seems that this twitty putz

    has gone quite wholly nuts.

    Yet also his tweeting actions

    serve him well as smoke-screen distractions.

    CONSERVATIVES GOT THEMSELVES TRUMPED {a rhyme}

    Conservatives got themselves Trumped; – he

    smushed ‘em like Humpty Dump-ty.

    IS it the end of the road

    on which they heretofore strode

    in their silly self-righteous mode? …

    … OR will more of ’em cease to crawl

    at The Donald’s beck and call?

    A Trump-fan suggests that Trumpism proves “Social Darwinism” correct. … I rhyme against such an idea:

    STOP EVOLUTION BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!! {a rhyme}

    Is Trumpsterism a “survival of the fittest”?

    No. We’re evolving toward the nit-wittest

    controlling our nation’s ominous fate.

    Stop evolution before it’s too late!!

    The typical Don the Con misdirection play. When under scrutiny, say something even more outrageous/stupid.

    Like Sandy Hook, no matter how bad it gets, nothing changes.

    TRUMP is like KIM JONG-UN {a limerick and an image}

    The only difference there be a-

    -bout Trump and the head of Korea:

    One’s black on his top,

    one wears an orange mop.

    Both look like pets they call “chia”.

    There is some debate about whether or not trump should be allowed to remain on twitter. I’m not sure where I stand on it, they certainly don’t have to allow him if they don’t want him. The executive operating manager there is Iranian American so some think his days are numbered in terms of twitter.

    Well, Trump’s baseless tirade forced the media into talking about Obama, and actually wondering if Obama did it or not, instead of talking about Trump’s obvious failures, which was Trump’s goal in the first place, so it looks like he’s succeeded. I’m betting that when the Congressional inquiry finally determines that there was no wiretap, so Obama could not order any wire tap, Trump will start claiming “the whole inquiry was rigged”.

    Trump has no grand scheme or nefarious purpose. There’s nothing motivating him except his compulsive mental illness. I don’t for a minute believe his lies have any intention except self-agrandizement or deflection—whichever he thinks will sooth his tortured egomania. It’s mental illness, folks. Nothing voluntary or intentional about it. The man is seriously ill. These are simply more symptoms.

    When Breitbart BS picks it up

    In a frenzy, Dump will sup

    On fake news never fit to print

    Ne’er apologize, ne’er repent

    Our Constitution the Dump is suborning

    And usually at 4 in the morning!

    The key word here is fabricate.

    So-called ‘conservatives’ who post here may not recognize that word.

    It means that Trump lies.

    But it’s okay because they STILL believe that Obama was born in Kenya.

    And Mexico will pay for it.

    The FBI and CIA have absolutely no right to refuse to conduct the investigation demanded by the President. He is President, and the office has to be respected, simply as a part of respecting the country. Consequently, a through investigation of every shred of evidence that exists which proves that Obama authorized a wire tap of Trump Tower needs to be completed. If it does turn out that all of that evidence proves that Obama did something wrong, then he needs to be held accountable. Conversely, if it turns out that all of the available evidence exists between Trump’s ears, then that area needs to be investigated with equal effort, and the results used to prove that one of these men is unfit to be president—and it isn’t Obama. The idea of this guy in the same hemisphere as the nuclear football scares me rather badly. I was assured by Republican friends that he would have sane people around him who would prevent him from doing anything totally crazy. Who? Kelly Ann? Bannon? Miller? He has selected “people around him” who are crazier than he is, and totally convinced that the world is out to get them. If that isn’t a recipe for disaster, what is?

    Careful, Old_Curmudgeon, the literal types might find some violence against the president might be (literally) almost figurative in them there lines! (By the way, I always enjoy your poems so I hope you don’t mind me tossing one of my own in here today. You’re probably a closer relative to Ogden Nash than I am, but I keep trying!)

    to smite The Donald right on the spot!!

    Good.

    A flyswatter too could be used to swat

    the flappy rump of the Trump. Why not?
