Sorry Tom, Cheney is still the one and only true Darth Vader to many of us. But I’m sure in the next few months you will be able to think of something appropriate other than President for the Putin lackey, racist Trump.

The love affair connection with Trump and Putin is just one of pure jealousy. Trump only wants the same dictatorial power and total control. He and his SS appointees.

Tom Toles seldom disappoints, and this is one of his best. He understands the historical importance of editorial art. Herblock, Mauldin, and Oliphant were my past favorites. Although not as “artistic” as Oliphant, Toles is now my favorite. His message and art come together like sulfuric and acid.

Best laugh I’ve had in weeks! I really miss Oliphant. He was superb! BTW: Pay no attention to the Putin behind the curtain!

Draw him wearing a turtle neck——he’ll look like a roll-on deodorant stick.

We’ll see what he does. It’ll be a much better job than crooked Hillary I guess.

Personally, as far as fictional characters Trump reminds me of, I’m thinking Joffrey from “Game of Thrones.” You know, a sociopath man-child with no conscience, low intelligence, and high insanity.

He did sound like Vader during the debates with all that snuffling and huffing.
