Just beans?

I happen to love lima beans. But as a side dish, not a main course.

I LOVE lima beans! What time is dinner?

Lima beans, you either like them or dislike them. A greater question would be, why subject someone to them who does not like them?

One of the C-ration meals had ham and lima beans. It was known as “Ham and Mothers”. Not very popular, either. I happen to like baby limas with cornbread.

As a kid once, I put some BB’s in my grandmother’s Lima beans… but when she bent over to feed the cat, she shot the canary…

If you don’t expect nothin’, then you’re even happy to get that

JUST Lima beans?

I agree, have always hated lima beans since I was a kid. Wife know to never make them(44 years married) and, thankfully, she dislikes them just as much as I do.and yes, I also recall ham and lima bean C rats.I always looked for the ham and egg C rats, which the rest of the unit hated.

I’m sick of people saying you should always think positive. Why? Do you have a crystal ball so you know exactly what will happen?

Thought not.

We moved into a rental house with a veggie garden in the back. We harvested, among other things, lima beans. What I didn’t know was that they need to be soaked before cooking. Crunchiest beans I’ve ever had.

I do love my lima beans.

Those around me? Maybe not as much.
