    Many stations not only use green screen ‘remotes’ but have done away with camera crews and floor managers altogether. Cameras are computer & robotically controlled from the booth by one engineer and there may or may not be a news producer doubling as a booth director.

    Even broadcasts of some sports events are faked. The broadcasters aren’t even at the game but in a small booth studio watching and commenting on the game via monitors and computers. Crowd noises are overlaid and blended into the sportscaster’s commentary.
