Well, I think that, after that full meal, the lion sleeps tonight, so Zeeba Neighba himself need not fear….

Just yesterday (18 Dec. 2015) the German news services reported that the Zoo in Duisburg fed an old (euthanized) zebra to one of their lions. Here’s a link to an article (in German).

i feel certain that the cousin was more than just “not happy”. he was probably downright cranky before ceasing to have emotion.

I bought it was the female lions that did the hunting. This fellow must have had a visit.
