Wonder what the average level of urine is in a family-serving public pool. 5%? Higher?

For the benefit of those of you in the US of A, Canada has just elected a new Prime Minister. This is a move back to a more balanced, centerist type of government and away from what many would call a fanatical right-wing climate that has prevailed here over the last decade.Stay tuned.

It’s 45 degrees here. The thought of swimming in a public pool or otherwise gives me the shivers.

Old Moms Mabley joke…A motel manager’s conversation with a guest:Mgr – Sir, I’m going to have to ask you to leave the motel.Guest – But why? I pay my bill.Mgr – Yes sir, but we’ve had numerous complaints about you peeing in the swimming pool.Guest – So what? Everyone pees in the swimming pool.Mgr – Yes sir, but not from the high diving board.

Public pools scare me especially when you see bandages floating in them.

If they can have separate smoking and non-smoking sections, why can’t they have designated urinating and non-urinating sections?

I’ve been swimming in public pools all my life and still here after 70+ years. Can’t be any worse than sitting in front of a computer or TV all day and not getting any exercise at all.

This is why pools have filtration systems and an excess of bleach. But trust Rat to put the worst spin on it possible.

Remember the scene in Caddyshack when the groundsman (Bill Murray) grabbed the candy bar and took a bite?

i suppose it depends who you talk to. You must talk to only liberals. it reminds me of the famous quote by New Yorker and film critic Pauline Kael: ‘I can’t believe Nixon won. Nobody I know voted for him.’ Electoral result: Nixon 520, McGovern 17, Hospers 1.

Even when the Conservatives won a majority of seats, they only garnered 35% of the votes. That’s what happens when the opposition gets divided between two major parties. And just by the way, many of my (usually) right-wing friends didn’t want him, either.
