Cottonwood seed looks like snow

Reminds me of a day in Big Basin park when the Fir trees were in pollen – it really was sleeting out of the sky.

Had snow here in northern Maine just this last weekend. Only flurries where I live, but just a little south of here they got 5".

And just think, pollen is plant sperm.Breathe deeply.

I’ve seen it snow more than once while we were branding calves in May in Oklahoma.

Why would anyone build a ‘pollenman’?! I get a snowman, but a ‘pollenman’?

I made a cotonwood “snowball” once. I think I could have done a “snowman”, but it would have taken a while.
