Oh look, there’s a Starman "There’s a starman waiting in the sky He’d like to come and meet us But he thinks he’d blow our minds There’s a starman waiting in the sky He’s told us not to blow it ‘Cause he knows it’s all worthwhile "
It’s very possible the dittoes didn’t “attack” Kirbee, but just took the most expedient way to drive her towards Holly. It’s been shown that they have some kind of sentience and have free will. They can play jokes, and refuse to follow orders. Wally had to apologize to them once. I think they just wanted Kirbee to find Holly. Quickly.
Whoops, this just may be Holly’s dream. When Marx was dimensionometering Holly to sleep, that could be the little Star Fellow who was in attendance on the Opabinia Queen.
There are so many unknowns that if Aaron did this for the rest of his life, may he live to be 110, he would not cover it all.
As much as I love this format, sometimes I wish he were writing a series of novels. There would have to be some drawings, but stories are a lot faster to write that it’s the drawings that take time.I wrote a story that I illustrated about half of, but life got in the way and I never got back to it. So many years have past that I would have to change it some.
Maybe Aaron could find a trusted friend to just write the history of Al, Marx, pre-Endtown, and Endtown up to now. On another not, I hope a collection of pre-endtown stories.
Are the books 5-6 going to print anytime soon?
This is Not me complaining, just thinking of possiblilties.
From being creepy and nasty, to being adorable in a matter of seconds.I can’t wait to see how they’ll rescue Wally.…Oh, wait! It’s Friday! I guess I’ll have to wait, after all…
I’d like to see the dittos save Wally by going into the boxing ring in the shape of Daffy Duck. (This is a joke referencing a scene in Neathery’s radio series, Electromatic Radio.)
How about the dittos giving Chic cover while he goes in the ring and knock’s Phil’s block off? If Chic doesn’t feel up to it, we could send in the invisible Holly. I’ve been told that the mouse packs one heck of a punch.

Kirbee is such a….ditz? warm hearted? easily distracted? I like her.

Two things: 1 Kirbee might make an interesting addition to the wandering troop after they leave lizardtown. 2 Kirbee has Holly’s apron with her.

Weren’t we in the middle of a deathmatch just a couple of days ago?

Kirbee has probably gained the approval of the dittos by calling them “adorable.” :)
Of course it’s just possible that the dittos read Kirbee’s nature and they already love her because of it.

I love Holly’s expression in panel 3, she seems as surprised as anyone that what she said had the desired effect.

I think Holly is certainly going to find Kirbee’s flippant personality quite interesting. :)

I’m wondering how Holly and Chic and Irving survived the poison gas attack…

OMG! How Vacuous is this lady lizzie?

I love Kirbee, but she seriously has the attention span of a fruit fly.
Aelfwulf about 9 years ago
The purge must have happened quickly for the gas to disappear that fast

Kind of a side note, but why are all the reptile anthro lizards? Wasn’t there a crocodile gal that rescued Wally?
Aelfwulf about 9 years ago
Isn’t Phil “Defender of Reptilian Primacy”?
JusSayin about 9 years ago
Well, … at least Kirbee didn’t say “adorbs”.
