Another weekend with Luann in Bernice’s dorm room, with Dez’s mask on the wall but no Dez in sight. Mystery!-And the mystery of what happened in the bio lab will probably never be solved, either…

Why did Greg Evans send Luann to Pitt CC, since apparently he planned for her to spend more time at Moony U. than at Pitt? Or did he initially plan to have Luann develop her own friends away from the “Fogarty” classmates, and then he changed his mind?

A more interesting post-Valentine’s Day scene is taking place at the Berger household, where Mr. Gray has shown up at the breakfast table, in his PJs. Will Gunther share his Cocoa Puffs with him?

It’s actually one of those “hybrid” dress/shirts, that women wear “another layer” (light sweater, etc) over…. – Some women used to wear them in the office when “linger-y” was “all the rage” for “going outside” fashion…

I’m trying to figure out that outfit that Tiffany is wearing. It’s like a nightie, under which she’s wearing yoga pants, and then on top a crop-top sweater. And heels.

I guessing that we supposed to take it that tiff woke up, was in a nighty, saw she had to take paper to recycle, so she put on the sweat pants and a sweater? and just “to be stylish” took the high heels as shoes?

looked at 2014 fashion images, and “closest” to what tiff was wearing is kind of the same but instead of a “nighty top” they had long sleeve blouses

When I first read Bernice’s sarcastic reply, I thought that was a decimal point, and wondered how she calculated such a fraction of a valentine. Quoting a precise number more than 8 thousand is fun too.

Tiffany has never been as popular as she would like people to believe, and in college, she will find that most of the other students will see her antics as immature.

Tiffany’s outfit— looks like a tank top with a flared bottom, probably with spaghetti straps, with a short sweater over it, and close fitting slacks. All perfectly acceptable and decent. You can see the top is the same color at the top by the neck, it is all one garment.

“Tiffany really has no friends and goes to drastic means to find acceptance from someone”*RB- I appreciate your empathy for Tiff, but in this case it’s just a moment of girl competition. Unfortunately, the Hatfields & McCoys were playing compared to the feuds engendered in girls as they grow up.

Poor ignorant, egotistical, self absorbed Tiff! No wonder she’s known as the punch line at times. If she would come down to earth instead of trying to walk above everyone else, she just might make some friends….. but I wouldn’t bet on it!

ReallyBad2 has really bad judgement. Tiffany, Crystal, and Knute are my favorite characters. I said the “cartoonist” needs a fashion consultant. Tiff looked great in her outfit yesterday. Even the cute Janet Jackson had a famous costume malfunction…….rumor has it that Greg designed that outfit, too. Now, you’re making me feel bad that I didn’t send her a Valentine. Bad, bad ReallyBad.

“What glory days? Everyone laughed at her in high school, just like everyone laughs at her now. She wasn’t popular, ever!”.Nice repeating video of a deranged beauty..How others perceived Tiffany and how Tiffany perceived Tiffany may not be exactly the same, but all that matters to Tiffany is how she remembered it..Further, I have no doubt many failed to realize how hollow her life and reality were. Many are just interested in beauty or power or wealth.

Maybe that’s a combination of things going on, including “raison d’etre”…– Maybe this is part of showing what goes on in Tiff’s life, and doubly exposes not only her inner anguish, but also the “underpinnings” of her motivations, including her relationship with her father, her insecurity (notice she has that in common with her ’nemesis", Luann, though they both show it at different times) and what drives her to be “that girl”… perhaps we have been treated to small exposes from these strips with Tiffany in college, so far..ones that show these things as she embarks upon the “college phase” of her existence…

Sometimes I feel like Tiff is a member of your family.

For starters, no. Nobody laughed at Tiff in HS. She was the queen there. A fact that she tells everybody because now she is not a queen anymore.

Luann, Bernice and Delta laughed at Tiff because they felt threatened by her. It is a defense mechanism. They could take her on her social skills, Tiffany was better at that. So they went for the “Emperor’s Clothes” strategy. Making fun of her in an attempt of showing Tiffany’s admirers that there was nothing behind her pretty face, and failed miserably.

Luann only felt secure in her dealings with Tiffany after Quill chose her. Silly isn’t it? And to make even things worse Tiff decided to get back at Luann by being petty to her with disastrous consequences.

In other words, it was just your typical HS teenager rivalry.

Now they are in College and they are among a group of young adults, many of which had to mature and leave their HS social skills in the past because they had found out that the real world out there does not care about you and will eagerly eat you and spit our your bones if you are not careful.

In this case Tiffany is not different from the HS class clown. They try to get attention in the only way they know and fail miserably when everybody else dismiss them. It is part of growing up. She will eventually grow up or not and her future will suffer accordingly.
