Didn’t Marx get the Dittoes from someone called the Lucrecians?

They don’t look human or anthro. They’re bottom-heavy under their cloaks, as if they’re quadropeds or slugs. Or… Those humps could be turtle shells or snail shells. Maybe we’ll find out on Wednesday.

The first panel really highlights the difference in size of the lizard and the raccoon. If you look at the March 11th version, of them, they appear to have grown and shrunk respectively.

I was wondering if Jim’s pouffy tail means anything in a raccoon, or is it just a cat thing with Wally?

Do you suppose these are the guys that lost their airship to Aaron Marx? Was it a poker game?

I guess I hit the return bar. I don’t know anything about the Lucranians except today.

Where are they mentioned before? The 1st time we saw Marx was also way bizarre too. where are the other story’s about Al and Gustine? I meant to read them during the sequester.

The Lucranians were the owners of that crazy air “ship” that Aaron Marx picked up our heroes with when they were surrounded by Topsiders at the end of the “Countdown” story arc. According to Aaron Marx (p. 74 of “Endtown 4”)“Lucranians have a powerful but EXTREMELY BASIC culture. There are only THREE THINGS that you need to know about them. Greedy beyond comprehension, cheat as readily as they breathe, absolutely LOVE BARGAINS…and right now, the entire planet is a clearance sale in a thrift store on TRIPLE COUPON DAY…”We also know that they have their own language and that they only have two kinds of books, economic texts and “financial erotica” and that their ships are usually automated because the salvage captains are too cheap to hire crews.I once asked Aaron Neathery about them and he said that Lucranians use ships like the Opabinia Queen to travel between realities. Thus this ship would have been used to salvage items from this reality and then traveled to another reality to sell them.

My total WAG is that the figures are immunes who wear the robes to keep their status ambiguous (or there is an, as yet unknown, something going on needing robes)
