It certainly looks like the elephant’s graveyard, and the Congressional elephants seem to be making considerable haste to go there. If only the Richthuglicons were as mythical as that graveyard…
What TTM?! The Democrats couldn’t get a single Republican to go along with anything they did?! Is this what you are implying because that is pretty much true. How lame is that?! The Republican House right now generally can garner at least some Democrat support of bills they introduce. The Democrat held senate has far, far less Republican support for the few things Reid allows to come to the floor..Seems to me that it was a combination of Democrat leadership incompetence (that trioka of morons Pelosi, Reid, and Obama) along with their insistance on completely cutting the Republicans out of the process (“I won, get over it” that Obama told the Republican leadership almost 6 months after taking office when he finally deined to meet with them due to the inability of Democrats alone to get anything done with their overwhelming majorities is indicative of that) that made Obama’s first two years in office a complete fail.
REALITY CHECK: Obama has used FEWER executive orders than any president in 100 years.Yes, EVERY SINGLE PRESIDENT. http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2013/01/obama-executive-orders-guns.html
“The libertarians …can catch them…well…no..The Libertarians seem to be “hands off” – very, very small government… allowing the people to run amuck….thus bringing back the conservatives…..lol”.The difference between libertarians, democrats and republicans is that Republicans believe in the absolute good of the private sector, Democrats believe in the absolute good of the government and libertarians believe that they are both people and prone to corruption and neither should have too much power over other people.
Nope. Obama is issuing far fewer executive orders than his predecessors. Less in his first term than Reagan, Carter, Clinton, Bush I, and Bush II. So no, I’m not worried about “setting a precedent.”

Don’t recall the Republicans getting the vapors when Bush Jr. ignored Congress with his “signing statements.”

The first two years Obama was in office with a completely compliant Congress and all we got was Obamacare… How dysfunctional is that?!

@ARodneyFewer executive orders, in fact, for many more presidents than that. (I won’t bother to list them, but it’s quite a long list!)
