I’ve gotta hand it to him… I’ve never taken him too seriously as the mayor before, but having been in his shoes when delivering a eulogy for one of my best friends, I can honestly say that the method he took hearkens true and wise… It’s up to the folks that are left to derive meaning from the tragedy, and to make sure the future gives way to lessons learned…

Trimble’s doing a pretty good job at this, all things considered.

This has been more than just a wake, it was Trimble’s wake-up cell.

I wish more mourners were there. It looks like about 130 people from an Endtown population of about 7000, to memorialise 30 people.

JJ is in custody, so maybe someone is from the media is covering the memoriam in his stead, and can actually report on this than the milk 3. All milk, all the time, can leave a bad taste in the mouth. All the media has to be under control of HC to preempt everything on the radio as well as the theaters. Remember to vote. I am unsure of voting original Endtown since they shut the front door to Endtown, and just put up a picture of some people. Is that a 10 year old picture including Aaron Neathery? Vote ENDTOWN Vote ENDTOWN first generation Vote Doc Rat JusSayin

While it’s nice that Walt is finally stepping up, the only way to fully defuse the situation is to dethrone the HC. And that won’t happen unless he can arrange a parley with Security. I wonder if the Mayor’s office is equipped with a direct line upstairs, like the rat phone.

Now taking pre-orders for Endtown volumes 3 and 4!Jarlidium is a small press, and small press can have its dangers. Apparently, the printer they use is raising their prices, and that is going to make it harder to sell at a reasonable price on Amazon or through other retailers. Jarlidium claims that they’re trying to find alternative printers, but may not have a solution until Fall. In the meantime, Jarlidium has ordered 150 copies from the current printers. 100 of those copies will be available for pre-order from the Jarlidium website, and when they’re gone, they’re gone. So, now’s a good time to make your move. You can see the covers here.

Is he trying to insinuate that there’s no “Happy Place” were these “people” have gone to?! Now that really super-ticks me off!

As for the topic of today’s strip, it’s very hard to find the right words to say—-very hard.

I have nothing to say about the comic other than I hope that it’s true, that this massacre doesn’t happen again.

Regarding the bookplates: You need to send proof of purchase via email to Aaron, plus a mailing address. Due to his current workload, allow four to six weeks for delivery.

Is it just me or is the distance between crowd and mayor widening with each panel?

TSOJ was it a marshmallow or a Pokeball. It looked like a level 10 upgraded one too.On the words. You can look at it two ways. One, you die you go to a place called Heaven where you meet all your dead relatives (many you hated in life). Two, you simply return to the earth from which you were created to begin with.Depends on what you have learned or have accepted. Just remember these words have always been used going back over time.“Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust.”The reference is in Genesis. Man was created from the earth and to the earth he will return. Nothing in Genesis ever said anything about a Heaven. Just you return from where you came. My view is you serve while alive by living everyday. When you pass you can finally put it all at rest. Final Peace.Don’t get all wrapped up on Endtown religion just understand there are losses. I am surprised at the showing. At least it was peaceful but now other matters must be taken care of. This needs to be fixed and only the living can do it. There must not be a repeat. The small showing does bother me. Some could be sitting about thinking revenge and anarchy becoming dangerously militant.Enough on that Now its time to Pre-order.

In spite of any mutation, we are gathered here to watch the mayor “man up”.It’s too bad neither Allgood or Velda is here to see this.

Mr. Mayor, while it is good that you acknowledge that you were asleep at the wheel, the truth is that you probably couldn’t have predicted or prevented this turn of even even if you’d been more attentive.

I know it will probably restart next week but man I am chomping at the bit to see what goes on when Linda takes the seat. Do they let her talk or just put words into her mouth.Allgood: “Did you make a cake using mutant products?”Linda: " Yes, but…….."Allgood: “NO FURTHER QUESTIONS! Pass the witness”Jake: “Linda explain why.”Linda: “Ummm I……”High Council: “Irrelevant, VERDICT NOW!!!!!”It is fun to guess!!!

They are so nice there. I did not see you could order both at once. I had ordered one so I just order the second one continuing on. No problem. They were nice enough to join the two themselves and cost me a shade less. I admire that in a company. I had no issues paying for both but that sure was nice of them to combine it on their own.I am number 14. Funny thing is that is my old Soccer Jersey number I had in High School.

To Whom It May Concern: On the Crowd Getting Further Away: It does seem to be the same number of tombstones between them…forced perspective, depending on what lens the camera uses?

Funerals are not for the dead, they are already wherever their beliefs take them. Funeral are to provide closure for the living. Walt has realized that it is not time for closure. Instead, it is time for ACTION and he is finally ready to lead the Lower Endtown population to find real resolution by taking back their home. The Bear is becoming a Man. Can’t wait to see where this is going.

JanBicIt falls back to that old saying. It is not what you say, it is what you do that counts.I in my career have rarely attended funerals. I prefer to take the place of those who want to go and go out to work in the place of the fallen officer. That is my homage. One falls another takes his/her place.Houston FD had that today for their fallen. FD from all over up here sent folks down to take the place of those wanting to get closure. As to the folks walking away. It’s time for closure, time to move on.

Some one said something about a song from along time ago.Walt feels like that right now.“Go ahead and hate your neighborGo ahead and cheat a friendDo it in the name of HeavenYou can justify it in the end. There won’t be any trumpets blowingCome the judgment day.On the bloody morning afterOne tin soldier rides away.”

Now that I think about it, the gratuitous violence and killingsdoesn’t bother me as much. Hey, I played video games that were far more violent than what I saw. How many times have you played video games with violent content? I now realize the violence between the rats and the End Town “people” is cake compared to gratuitous violent video games. But that doesn’t mean I’ll stop playing them. Hey, who doesn’t love explosions?
