We keep scented candles in the bathroom (for obvious reasons) and have come to use the phrase “light a candle” as an analogy for, well, doing one’s business on the toilet. So Wiley’s proverb still applies!

My buddy did that on his motorcycle once. Luckily he only lost his eyebrows and a bit of hair.
