I would like to know why the Supreme Court threw the election to Bush. That O’Connor wanted to be replaced by someone nominated by Bush is a bit far fetched though. In panel two, Biden does not have the authority to “lock her up” even though she may deserve it. Panel three, please, it’s not the government’s job and why do you keep suffering through them… I don’t. Panel four, a commission gathers information and writes a report. There are lots of loose ends that it might be good to see tied together. Only people who don’t want to see the truth would be against that.
Yes, the events of January 6, 2021 were obviously a blatant attempt to usurp the Constitutional authority of Congress and establish Trump as dictator. We don’t need a Commission to uncover the truth. The Commission would simply put the truth into an official record. That is exactly why the Republicans oppose it.
I agree with Ted on panels 1, 2 and 4. I saw a total of three Batman movies with Michael Keaton as Batman being two of them and I don’t know who Robert Pattinson is.
DC should stick with animation and what it creates for HBO Max. The new iteration of Superman is pretty good, but that’s about it for their TV offerings. Sparkly Batman is gonna fail worse than Batwoman.
RepublicQans would ignore the findings of any investigation into the Jan. 6 riots save if there were arrests of them. Trumpanzees would scream that the gov’t was out to get Herr Gropingfuror, that was the only reason for such an investigation. Any investigation, now by a House Select Committe, though, puts everyone on notice that there still are those who care about the state of U.S. democracy.
I’d like to see some congress reps speak on the record as to whether they gave “tours” to people who later stormed the Capitol. I suspect Pelosi and other leaders know exactly who did.
Leave it to Ted to speak plainly: yes, what exactly were we planning to achieve with this “Jan 6 Commission”? We want Indictments, and we want them now. We all know what happened, it was there for everyone to see. Thanks, Ted, #LockThemAllUp
Why create a commission to investigate January 6th? Because, even though we all know what happened, the people that organized, aided and abetted the actions have had no consequences.

Trump says he opposed the Iraq War, but he basically gave all those Americans who committed war crimes free passes.

Pay attention, Theodore. There will be no 1/6 commission.

I smiled at panel #3, but it does detract from the seriousness of the other panels.

Let’s hope they don’t use unsustainable resources for a big book to weigh down the shelving. We don’t need more broken furniture.

Well, Tramp’s never been hampered by a lack of hypocrisy. Consider former Presidential adviser Flynn, pardoned so he can plot a ‘Myanmar-style coup’.
