Reminds me of the beautiful young Asian woman that nearly lost her life in front of my office, missing the tractor, but going under the rear wheels of the trailer. If the impact hadn’t rotated her car, the wheels of the trailer would have run right over the driver’s position.

    Texting while driving kills. DON’T.

I don’t know what was more amazing, the fact the she was alive and relatively unharmed, or the driving skills of the tractor trailer driver who balanced his truck on a sidewalk trying to avoid the collision.

Whenever I pass someone who is looking at his/her phone, I lean on the horn. I want them to know I am there. They can hit and kill somebody else.

I have enough trouble operating my windshield wipers and heater – reading and composing text messages isn’t in my repertoire.

As someone who neither uses SMS nor reads text messages, I can only assume the humor here must arise from myths about the lucky folks who do. Unfortunately, though, the reality is probably more akin to drunk driving, where it’s always the drunkard who takes one or two lives but escapes unscathed himself.

Yes, missed the wall…but they will then proceed to wipe out innocent folks on foot, motorcycle, oncoming car, etc. And walk away with a ticket for inattentive driving, if that.

If i’m in a store shopping and someone isn’t watching where they’re going because they’re looking at their phones I don’t move out of the way anymore!
