The most recent of many things he has turned his back on while in office, beginning with the Constitution of the United States.

There is a nice Trump Tower in Istanbul, and he made this decision right after a conversation with dictator (oops, I mean president) Erdoğan. Coincidence, I am sure.

Yet another ally that Trump dumps the instant it’s expedient for him.

And yet the resident’s approval has hit the highest level in two years the Rasmussen poll. So we still fail to communicate the true Ameican values to his supporters and they are content with the lies and disinformation they have been given without an obvious effective rebuttal from the majority of Americans who believe in our constitutional democratic republic. Calling them names instead of countering the obvious lies with unassailable truth will not and does not change their misinformed views.

Wait ’til the Evangelicals hear about this. Trump is allowing the Muslim Turks to kill the Christian Kurds. There goes his base!

I hope either the President reconsiders this move, or at least makes it very clear to the Turks that there will be a price to pay for attacks on another US ally.

Also, the Kurds should be given their own country after getting shafted in the treaty of Lausanne (1923). I would suggest California. :)

Trump has never been anything other than a “lickspittle” for Erdoğan. In July of 2016, Erdoğan was the subject of an attempted coup because of his authoritarian tendencies – after that he dropped all pretense of maintaining a democratic government and started acting like the dictator he really wanted to be.

In early August the Trump administration, in retaliation for the two year hostage taking of Pastor Andrew Brunson, finally was forced to place economic sanctions against two of Erdoğan’s ministers. The local Turkish press, under the control of Erdoğan, suggested seizing the Trump Towers in Istanbul, in retaliation Fortunately the pastor was released before the seizure could take place but this DID show to the world WHY it’s not a good idea to have a president with foreign entanglements. -

Of course, Trump has been very careful to keep Erdoğan on Trump’s good side.

Now, America may lose all respect with our allies, no one in their right mind will EVER commit to an action of any kind with America ever again, thousands of betrayed Kurds will be killed by Turkey, and, oh, by the way, thousands of ISIS fighters and their families will now be releast into Syria to reform and start their terrorist mechanizations, again – but, By damn, at least Trump’s precious Towers will be safe!

This should place a warm spot in the “cockles” of Trump supporters’ hearts (assuming they have one.)

Many Republicans and their evangelicals use religion as a convenient excuse for their bigotry. If you’re a white male or subservient white female claiming a Christian religious bent, you’re a wonderful Republican. Just don’t ask your public servants of the party any awkward questions about their views.

My concern is how many decades it may take to undo all the damage Bonespurs and his “team” and supporters have already done to the environment, social interactions at home and abroad, foreign policy, military competence, education, scientific progress, and government ability to function- at all.

Trump does not own the Trump Towers in Istanbul. It is owned by a Turk. But through licensing, Trump makes some pretty good money from them. They could be seized, and the licensing agreement voided, and the name dropped. Trump would not want to see that happen, of course.

Jr. has been doing business with India, which helps explain Modi being honored by Trump.
