Ah, the nefarious plan is revealed, and the source of that giggling is about to be revealed.

Thug #2: “Yeah, that’s the one…[Then Realizes] oh, Lord!”

Tsk, tsk… don’t you know you should always gag the girl? Now you have to meet Rip’s giggling fists as punishment.

I was right, it’s a person. (Although not one that I anticipated…)

I’ts the old kidnap the (fill in the blank) loved one gag. ANd, of course to go long with that gag, there’s the companion gag, the hero “swoops” in to save the (fill in the blank) loved one, and, defeats the villains. Of course, Rip fill the role of the hero, and, defeat the villains, but, probably not in the manner that gag usually plays out.

But, who wants to coerce Judge Lincoln, and why?

I think she’s in the gang. She’s dressed just like the guy who grabbed her in the first frame. Right down to the black kerchief! Coincidence? Not in Rip Haywire where every stroke of the pen is a clue to something!

This is a serious situation! That goon is making her outfit look awful!
