I had a giant beanbag chair for probably the better part of 40 years. Finally had to get rid of it because it was just nasty. And yeah, getting out of it was nearly impossible.

My version of this is trying to get up out of an Adirondack chair. At least it has arm rests to grab on to.

That’s why hammocks are nice. All you have to do is start to lean over the side. Getting into one,on the other hand can be a challenge.
