I do indeed like the idea of recording “brilliant thoughts” in the Comp Book. But, I find it sadly ironic that OJ has had Nancy suggest that the “doodles” are “lesser” quality than the thoughts. Even though doodles are not a part of standard teaching practice…. they are often valuable in other ways.

I have lots of pretty blank notebooks and journals. I can’t bring myself to spoil them with my terrible handwriting.
