as the grandparent of a ten ear old whose school back pack weighs more than he does loaded with books and homework; I see this more as an indictment of the school system.

This reminds me, I hated school.

Olivia needed a little editing “But until you do, I’ll KEEPING applying pressure.” how about, But until you do, I’ll KEEP applying pressure.

I like Nancy’s teacher more and more! She recognizes the potential that Nancy has, and is not being put off by Nancy’s less than enthusiastic effort. The teacher keeps applying gentle pressure to coax Nancy into strengthening her abilities.

Some writers of comics here on GoComics seem to have the ability to fix their minor typographical errors within the same day they are spotted. If Olivia is looking at her printed effort from today, she will hopefully notice the typographical error (“keeping” should be “keep”) and may be able to submit the minor revision.

I’m a new reader to Nancy because of the new artist. I’m really enjoying it so far.

Normally, I wouldn’t leave a comment. I saw a few people saying everyone had left the strip, so I wanted you to know I have taken someone’s place.

Does anyone proofread this?

Isn’t “applying pressure” what you’re supposed to do to stop the bleeding? Maybe there’s a hidden message there for us. I’ll try playing it backwards and see what happens.
